Day 26 Friday June 2 Grasmere


Leaving Carlisle by bus this morning - past the McVitie's factory, home of Water Biscuits and HobNobs, two hiking favourites
Back into hilly terrain as we head south to the Lake District

Church of St Oswald, who's believed to have preached here​ sometime before 642.  There have been several churches on this site - the oldest part of this church is c1300
