Day 9 Monday May 21 Coedway to Montford Bridge 17k

Getting ready for another day - 2k walk to get back to the Severn Way
There's been an inn on this spot since the 1400s - a small section of the building is original.  No one knows where the name came from
Crossing the Seven on a bridge that looks wide enough -
until an impatient piece of farm machinery tries to cross at the same time.
Crossing a fields of cows - they left us alone, but
were pretty interested in Scott.
St Peter's Church, Melverley - timber construction, wattle and daub - built 1406
Lots of stiles to climb today
Sandy keeps us all on track
Another curious and friendly cow
Through more fields
One friendly horse, one shy pony
A really friendly pony
More narrow paths and large pieces of machinery
We're being watched
Bridge over the highway - no sight of the Severn except for the sign
Out for dinner in Shrewsbury.  Tudor building with a few twists in the decor
